Mark Kilam, newly appointed head coach of the Edmonton Elks, made a bold entrance at Commonwealth Stadium on Monday, declaring his vision for a team built on the city’s grit and determination.
“This is a city that works hard, embraces grit, and has a chip on its shoulder to succeed—and that’s exactly what we’re going to embody,” said Kilam, who spent 20 years with the Calgary Stampeders. His extensive experience as a special-teams coordinator and assistant head coach has prepared him to steer the Elks toward a brighter future.
